I have had several people ask me to design and/or animate their logo. I am happy to do that kind of work, and have done it for free so far, as I learn a lot from each project I take on. Brian came to me with the concept for this logo, and I did the artwork. Together, we discussed back and forth until we reached a design we were both happy with. More recently, I created this animated version for Pat to add to his website. I enjoy doing this kind or work, and am willing to adapt to suit the customer.
The animation can be set to music or one could add their own voice over. This could easily be expanded to create a little advertisement.

Dancing Children Mandala 1
I was asked by a lady in Canada to design a logo for her children's dance center. This is an expansion of that project into a mandala. I will add other rings and versions of this.
If you would like me to do this with photos of your children, let me know. Photos to make the silhouettes don't have to be perfect.

Background Tutorial 1
You Tube has upgraded me to allow for uploading videos over 15 minutes. This one is 4 seconds over that. It is rather technical and mostly intended for those who actually want to create digital art with the techniques demonstrated. Others who are curious about how digital art is done may also find it interesting.

Cholla Flower Animation Demo 3
This animation is much more complex thanks to a nesting of compositions in After Effects. It makes a deep layering of elements manageable.

Calendula Star Tutorial
I have created an animated tutorial showing how to make the digital flower stars. I use calendula blossoms for the demonstration.
Revised First Animation
I have redone my first animation project at a higher resolution. It is much improved. Because I deleted the low resolution version of this from You Tube, my original no longer is available on my first animated video posting. I am keeping the posting for archival completeness.

A Sufi Story
This is a different use of animation that I hadn't anticipated. I kept it simple so as not to distract from the story.

Calendula Stars Animation 3
I have a third and final video ready featuring calendula flower stars. This one is like a fireworks show which builds to a grand finale.
*******
The file size is large enough, that it requires extensive buffering. Just play it through once to buffer it, then sit back and enjoy the second run.

Calendula Stars Animation 2
I have a new animation demo ready. This one is set to a Gregorian chant. This one is still a little rough, but I have figred out how to get the right resolution.

Calendula Stars Animation 1
I have a new animated video posted on You Tube. It is what I have been aiming for. The resolution could still be better, but I am learning how to handle compression for the web. This is 40 years in the making. I am 61 now, and had a vision of doing this when I was 21. The lesson is: have patience and perserverance.

Yellow Prickly Pear Animation
This is my first attempt at animation. It is quite rough and I didn't get the compression right in posting to You Tube, so the resolution is poor. Still, it is enough to demonstrate the kinds of things I will be able to do with this.
I am giving you the link to You Tube, and embedding the video here as well. The video will be too wide for this page, but you should be able to double click on it to get a full screen version. If you have a problem with it, follow the link below.
